Protestors Greet Hu Jintao in New York

Chinese President Hu Jin Tao was greeted by protestors and supporter alike during his visit to New York earlier this week. Above is a selection of photographs of the event.
Though largely peaceful, the protests were however marred when a man latter identified as Zhang Wu, a journalist with New York based Chinese language station Sinovision, verbally abused and then assaulted a Tibetan activist who was setting up a Tibetan Flag near Hu’s hotel.

The ones with business ties on the Mainland support the government, in
public at least, but a lot of the others don't support it, or really really
hate it.
