For the last two years, Angry Chinese Blogger has been striving to provide news from China and about China and has, with varying levels of success, been attempting to provide a voice for issues that need to be heard and a picture of China that goes beyond that which is normally provided by the mainstream media.
However, no mater how diverse the contents of Angry Chinese Blogger has been, and no mater what its articles have said, most of them have had one thing in common; This being that it represents the country as seen by somebody who was not raised in Mainland China and who most Mainland Chinese would, quite rightly, consider to be an outsider.
To rectify this, Angry Chinese Blogger is proud to introduce a new and experimental section “Chinese Voices”.
Unlike the rest of Angry Chinese Blogger, each issue of “Chinese voices” will take the form an introduction to an issue and brief Podcast, where you get to hear a what a ‘real’ Chinese thinks about an issue or topic.
These articles will appear along side Angry Chinese Blogger’s conventional entries over the next week or so and will become a regular feature if they prove popular.
