Sakura Matsuri festival: Washington, America

On Saturday, April 8, 2006, the Japan-America Society of Washington, DC will present its annual Sakura Matsuri for the 44th year. The festival will take place on Pennsylvania Avenue between 11th & 13th Streets, and on 12th Street between Pennsylvania & Constitution Avenues. All are near the Federal Triangle Metro (Blue & Orange Lines). The event is FREE and open to the public. It is held RAIN or SHINE.
